Autumn colours begin to take over the countryside as greens turn to golds and reds and the heather and bracken darkens.  The Rut begins in the Red Deer population (you will hear it even if you don’t see it)!  The countryside is stunning at this time of year and September and October are the best months to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights as the sky darkens.
